Hardcover with dustjacket, first American printing as stated on copyright page, book is in excellent condition, mild tanning on the spine is the only remarkable flaw, the predominantly white jacket also has mild tanning along the folds but remains clean and attractive, the original price (5.95) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, an "autobiography of Forester's obscure first thirty-one years - found in a safe deposit box after his death in 1966" .
