Texas historical fiction during the Reconstruction and the movement west. 637 pp. Green cloth boards show light corner-bumping and spine end wear. Very slight movement in front hinge. Clean interior with tanned pages. Forward corner of bottom page edge has a little shelf-soiling. Dust jacket has chipping with some loss on front flap fold and a 1/2" X 1" chip on top front hinge area. Hinges and flap folds all show rubbing. Still color is bright. Now in protective cover.
