The covers are clean, the jacket likewise-very slight signs of use. Clean internally, no inscriptions. 174 pages. A description of the course of the Battle of Loos, from contemporary accounts, war diaries and author's own knowledge, Loos was the first time the British used Gas- releasing 150 tons of chlorine gas- but the wind blew some of it back over in their own direction and at best floated around in no-man's land- not even reaching the Germans, who were too well dug in anyway.
