Pictorial dust jacket by Wilfred Jones. Bound in blue cloth with black lettering stamped on cover and spine. A bright copy with remnant of old bookseller's tag on rear pastedown, and with very slight edge-wear to dust jacket. In addition to writing novels, Kempton was a Harvard lecturer on creative writing. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival protector.
