London : Hutchinson & Co, 1947. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hutchinson "7d" edition, n.d. but known to have been issued between 1911-15. Hardback book is tidy and square. Both boards have much marking and with touch of wear to corners. The spine is darkened, with bumped ends. Hinges and binding firm. Frontispiece present. Text block clean, with toning to edges, more pronounced and dusty to the top edge. The pages are clean. Feels read but not loose. Good condition. No jacket. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. An uncommon SF title, an adventure set in Atlantis, one for the collectors
