First edition, very good black cloth hardcover shows a light bowing crease along spine, some light wear to covers with touch of rubbing at edges, just a light bit of soil at page edges, and some staining visble at jacket reverse, in very good jacket (price at flap) showing rubbing and edge wear including a small open chip at top of back panel and a couple of short closed tears, along with a small open chip (no more than inch in diameter) at lower portion of spine. 559 pages. All said, this does remain an attractive copy of this "first completely comprehensive account of the American intevention in Vietnam
