Foxing and dust stains. ; This copy inscribed and signed by the author on verso of half-title leaf: "To John Hassall / with the best wishes / of Neil Munro / August 1896". [6], 285, [1], [2 (advertisements)] pages + portrait frontispiece. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine, black lettering and Celtic knot design on front board. Page dimensions: 188 x 124mm. The author's first book. A collection of short stories.
