Name and author has been typed on an old label and affixed to cover.This is the first printing of this Burroughs novel. Also bound into this volume is the top 2/3rds of the March 11 1933 Tarzan cover. There is also a section from the Argosy of December 9th 1922 (this was Argosy's 40th anniversary issue) which includes: The Story of Argosy on its Fortieth Birthday, A complete novelette: Venus or Earth by Will McMorrow, History of the Tarzan Novels and the first page of Tarzan and the Golden Lion..
