Sobre este artículo
London: Peter Nevill, 1952. First Thus Edition . Hardcover. VG-/VG. 1st UK edition [originally published 1950], 8vo, reddish cloth, 424 pages, b/w illustrations, extensive bibliography and notes, index. Condition: VERY GOOD- book / VERY GOOD jacket: rubbing to board edges, small tear to spine tail, first 3 pages have small tears at top edge, faint spotting to top page edge; the lovely (pink with white flowers design) jacket has slight edgewear, toning to spine, price-clipped. "M. B. Stern 1952" is written on front endpaper - a previous bookseller has noted this as being "signed" - though I do not believe this is the case. The rare bookseller Madeleine Stern's classic biography of Alcott remains a must-read.
