Sobre este artículo
Publisher's blue cloth with gilt spine lettering and author monogram gilt on upper panel, octavo, pp. vi, [vii], 249. Tissue-guarded frontispiece and 5 inserted plates as called for. GOOD condition only with shelf wear and tears in the bottom margins of pages 65/66 and 67/68 (see photo for our best attempt at a close-up), caused possibly by separating the original leaves with a dull implement or perhaps an inexperienced or unsteady hand. This volume a Scribner omnibus of two earlier Burnett titles: Louisiana, published 1880 (See BAL 2053); and The Pretty Sister of Jose, published 1889 (See BAL 2073).
