Good/No Jacket. 167 pages, plus ads; Dark green cloth covers are a little mottled near edges and show light rubbing on edges; Crossed swords and lettering are a little rubbed, though remain clear and fairly bright; All edges of text are gilded; Front free end page is a little chipped and partially loosened; Presentation inscription on first blank page following ffep reads in full "To / Miss Ardella M. Billings / from / Frank D. Berrien - an old C.H.S. boy. / May 1900"; Berrien who was of the class of 1900 returned to the Academy as a head football coach from 1908 to 1910, He was captain of the USS Nicholson during WWI; Page 13/14 (with photo and graduating information about Berrien) is very slightly loosened and shows a light smudge; Volume is otherwise tight, intact, and very clean.

Fine bindings, plate books, signed and inscribed items are an important part of my collections. Smaller, though intriguing collections of other genre are also a part of my holdings.
