Back board lightly creased with mild soiling. Text block is top stained red with deckled edges. Prior owner's bookplate (*Pat Shurmur) on inside front cover. All interior pages are clean and intact, except page 44 which is dog-eared. Small chip at upper corner of last free end-paper. A great read for all sports fans and baseball historians. Tales of Joe DiMaggio's experiences from his days at the sandlot baseball diamonds into his career with the Yankees. Includes 4 photos, his Major League, All Star and World Series records from 1932 to 1951, and the record of his 56 game batting streak in 1941. * Of special note, the previous owner of this book is Pat Shurmur who attained NFL fame as both a coach and offensive coordinator - currently with the Denver Broncos.
