I did see a few other passages in the book also underlined or with a mark on the side of the passage. Most pages are clean/unmarked. The underlining doesn't interfere with the print. 607 pages. Stated "PRINTING HISTORY: First Published by Doubleday - Jan. 2, 1947. 5 printings." No other print date stated. Fawcett Crest #m1041. 95 cents original cover price.
