London: London Limited Editions / Viking, 1988. First edition. Hardcover. Copy 63 from an edition of 150 specially bound copies using the Viking sheets. The third book in Davies' Cornish trilogy. A clean and tight very near fine copy with a faint crease to the top corner of the first few pages in a near fine glassine jacket that has some very slight wear. Signed by Davies on the limitation page.
Sinopsis
Robertson Davies (1913-1995) had three successive careers during the time he became an internationally acclaimed author: actor, publisher, and, finally, professor at the University of Toronto. The author of twelve novels and several volumes of essays and plays, he was the first Canadian to be inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Books are returnable for any reason within 10 days provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent.
