Scunthorpe and Gainsborough: W. H. & C. H. Caldicott, 1946. REVISED and ENLARGED EDITION, SIGNED BY ILLUSTRATOR. 8vo, [64] + b/w frontis and plates. Green cloth, gilt stamped lettering to upper board (faded). Head of spine pushed, band of sunning to lower board, pen mark to upper board. Illustrator's signature in blue pen below the printed name on the title page; 'H. D. S. Smith'. Clean, tight and tidy. A near fine copy. WorldCat lists copies held by BL and Bishop Grosseteste University only. Dudley's hymn to north-west Lincolnshire, dedicated 'with a special greeting for my fellow members in The Lindsey County Federation of Women's Institutes, and in the Women's Section of the British Legion.' With a foreword by Major W. North Coates. Mr H. D. S. Smith was a Lincolnshire artist. Includes Dudley's war poetry.
