Sobre este artículo

London: Strahan & Co, 1871. First edition. First edition. Original superbly illustrated green cloth with bold gilt blocking, as well as black borders, background and lettering on cover and spine. First issue with half-title, and superb woodcut illustrations by Arthur Hughes throughout. 13 pp. of advertisements at end. AEG. In nice collector's folding box. Rear cover neatly detached, otherwise a very nice copy, text block starting, minor browning and spotting, minor soiling to covers, a book rarely found in exemplary condition. . No priority is known regarding tan versus green cloth.
