The top 2-1/2 inches of he wraps are detached & their top corners are lightly creased. There is a tiny chip to the front edge of the front wrap. 6 pages. Black-and-white illustrations, including a map showing the territory of the tribes. Very good.

Eight tribes shared the basin of Mackenzie River: Chipewyan, Beaver, Sekani, Slave, Yellowknife, Dogrib, Hare and Nathani. Some scholars believe the Mackenzie River natives to be the last people to migrate from Asia into America, arriving not many centuries before the Christian era. At the time of this publication the territory's population was only about 4,000.
