Sobre este artículo
Mackinac Island: Mackinac Island State Park Commission. Near Fine with no dust jacket. 1973. Sixth Printing. Hardcover. 0911872132 . Contains historic photos and maps with text and commentary on the photos by the Supt. of the Commission. This is a fascinating photo history of this famous island in the straits of Mackinac from its earliest days as a strategic outpost to its modern transformation into an historic tourist destination--one of the few places in America where cars are not allowed. Book is tight, clean and unmarked; dust jacket is in nice condition, except there is rippling to top portion of rear panel. This later printing has pictorial covers and (I believe) was issued without a dust jacket.. This book does not actually have an ISBN as those numbers were started after this book was first published in 1973--ISBN included to facilitate locating this copy.; B&W Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 103 pages .
