Sobre este artículo

New York, NY: G.P. Putnam & Sons, 1974 G.P. Putnam & Sons, New York. 1974. Hardcover. Stated First American Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good +; light dust soiling to textblock top and fore edge. DJ: Very Good; NOT Price Clipped ($8.95); light suntanning to spine; small missing piece at lower front tip cover; scattered edge bumping. Tan cloth boards and spine with blue lettering on the spine. 444 pp 8vo. This book has elements of treason, implied, and romance, muted, in high places insinuated in a not very menacing fashion around Maculan -- an inventor from abroad -- who contributed some valuable arms inventions; and Vincent who infiltrated his way into the business after Maculan's sudden and questionable death via his daughter Jenny, a rather defenseless girl who never seems to wonder about anything. Until Vincent dies, also suddenly, leaving proof of adultery with a very common woman as well as debts and evidence that he had been on the other side of NATO. Police officer Mark Vail goes over his papers, and Jenny, and finally attempts to prod her conveniently lapsed subconscious. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.

Sobre Walnut Valley Books/Books by White

Walnut Valley Books is a small independent home-based business with the bulk of my holdings being of an American military nature covering everything from the Revolutionary War to the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I also have holdings of books on the Middle East, the southwestern United States (New Mexico especially, Kansas related titles, Oklahoma related titles, and other regionally specialized books. All of my holdings are hand-selected to be good quality books of interest to the reader, historian, or the collector. In addition to the above, you will also find a wide range of other topics such as Medical, US History, autobiographical, biographical, sports, women's studies, and many other eclectic topics.
