Publisher's black topstain. Spine very slightly rolled. In the dust jacket, with toning (more so to the spine), lightly chipped edges, and an adhered slip of paper backing a 2" closed tear. Dance 005. Ward's second wordless novel is a visual tale of man's quest for power, and the inevitability of death. A masterpiece from one of the giants of twentieth-century illustration.
