Original paperback binding with minimal shelfwear. The binding has yapped edges meaning it extends unusually far beyond the page edges. To make the cover water resistant by an authentic method it was finished with beeswax burnished with a smooth stone in the style and method known to have been employed in the 17th Century. The text was printed on heavy fibrous paper using lead type in period style. One of 180 numbered copies. Contains one hand-colored illustrations and another tipped in black illustration.
