Foxing and age tanning present on endpapers.Black construction paper residue on back endpaper. Hinge cracked at title page. Slightly rolled spine somewhat affecting binding. Book stays open at any page. Tissue guard present with significant foxing. Age tanning and foxing present but pages are unmarked. Pages slightly bowed from shelfwear. B&W plates throughout with included ephemera photocopy of one of the plates inserted into the book. Final page of index is partially uncut. An interesting piece of history on the shelf of a book collector, A Magnificent Farce and Other Diversions of a Book Collector provides a humorous and illustrative follow-up to The Amenities of Book Collecting.
