Publisher's red cloth illustrated and lettered on the front in black and lettered on the spine in gilt. Frontispiece + 11 further illustrations. A neat name and date (from 1917) on the front free end-paper otherwise a VG+ copy. In the VERY RARE D/W priced 2/6 net to the spine (as called for). The D/W has some tissue repairs to the verso and is VG. Laid in is a Catalogue of "Autumn Announcements" from Messrs. Longmans & Co. dated October 11.
