Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown (ie, inside front cover), and gift inscription to front free endpaper. Light blue dustjacket unevenly faded to brown at the spine and along rear and front top edges; upper right corner of inner front flap clipped. A collection of "stories, incidents and anecdotes" concerning the city of Columbia, SC - written over the course of forty years and many originally published in The Columbia Record.
