A collection of verse and short prose, letterpress printed on eight single sheets (Rives, Strathmore, Basingwerk and other fine papers), with original verse by Beth Herrick and additional short pieces by Winslow Homer, Rachel Carson, John Steinbeck, Bill Holmbom, Gretchen Westphal, and Horace P. Beck. Includes two small run, original 9 x 11'' relief etchings by Herrick, each signed and numbered. Presented in a hard portfolio, quarter bound in ivory cloth over brown papered boards with a paste-on woodblock print title on the front cover. Beth Herrick of Mount Desert Island, Maine, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the California College of the Arts in 1982.
