Sobre este artículo
This is a wonderful book for someone who likes organic gardening or farming, who is also interested in it's roots.
From the forward: "My own observations, coupled with some intensive study of the subject, have led to a firm conviction that understanding and application of organic farming principles is essential to the continuance of healthy plant and animal life on this planet."
The book covers topics such as: The Failure of Poison Sprays, Why Compost?, Insect Pests, Minerals and Trace Elements, and more. The book is very readable.
Condition: The spine is sun faded. The front cover shows a couple light stains and marks, and has a small gold horse image; it is also partly separated from the title page, the back cover shows very little wear. There is little wear on edges and corners. Inside end papers have age spots and areas. Also front end paper has previous owner's name and a date of 1952. Pages are free of marks, but are age tanned. The book includes occasional wood-block-type images. Please see photos.
132 pages including Bibliography.
