History of Central and Eastern Europe, follows the growth of its States throughout the length of the medieval period. Author provides a thorough study of the tenth and eleventh centuries which most authors of these regions give short shrift. Author Francis Dvornik, 14 August 1893 â 4 November 1975), was a priest and academic, and one of the leading twentieth-century experts on Slavic and Byzantine history, and on relations between the churches of Rome and Constantinople. Dvornik taught at Charles University in Prague, the Collège de France, and Harvard University. A handsome copy despite the DJ wear and Highly recommended. LOC SSS-21
