Sobre este artículo
Los Angeles: the school, 1929. Hardcover. 108p., coated alkaline paperstock with a profusion of b&w mugshots, typical yearbook style except no football pix. Hardbound in 11x8 inch oilcloth boards decorated in bronze and blind; no signatures or inscriptions. Joint-fold of back cover has a nasty little nick about a half-inch long that partially affects the spine panel, an else splendidly-preserved item. Laid in are a half-dozen documents that refer to several members of a family named Baumbaugh, birth records and vitae; there is surely a 'Baumbaugh' listed in this annual. Chapter heads and dividers are decorated with deco images of Japanese women in costume, confirming 'Makio' as a Japanese name. Why, is not explained. It was used as the name for at least one other(significantly larger ... Ohio State University) student yearbook. On-line translations indicate it means "Magic Mirror
