Manchester, Published by William WIllis,, 1839.. 1839 126 p. Engraved map as frontispiece and an additional engraved title page. Contemporary brown cloth binding, rebacked at some time with the original spine and part of the paper label preserved. The text pages are clean and tight. Richard Hollinworth or Hollingworth (1607�1656) was an influential Presbyterian clergyman in Manchester and surounding area. He was named by Humfrey Chetham to be one of the feoffees of his library on its foundation and this first printing of Mancuniensis was made from Hollinworth's manuscript held by Chetham's Library.
