The spine and covers are lightly rubbed and edgeworn, the margins have been trimmed and the edges spackled, there is a previous owner's bookplate, the pages are quite clean except for the frontis which has some spotting. With a short account of the Ancient and Modern Samaritans. The whole much enlarged from the principal writers on Jewish Antiquities by Adam Clarke, LL.D. The Third Edition, with many additions and improvements. Edited by Adam Clarke. (History--Ancient, Jews, Religion).
