Paris: Gravure Goupil et Cie, 1882. Very Good -. The sheet is 11.5 x 15 inches; the image is 7.25 x 10 inches. The print is a black-and-white image of the painting Manon Lescaut by Pascal-Adolphe-Jean Dagnan-Bouveret (1852-1929). No date of publication. The series The Masterpieces of French Art was issued in the United States beginning in 1882. Portfolios containing several photogravure prints and several wood engravings were published on a monthly basis. Gravure Goupil et Cie became Boussod, Valadon & Cie in 1884. A strikingly beautiful image. In Very Good- Condition: closed 2-cm. tear from upper edge; sunned along two edges; image is clean and bright.
