This is a handsome, custom-bound copy of "MANSFIELD PARK" by Jane Austen. 1923; Martin Secker; London. Fine, three-quarter leather custom binding by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in London with an ornate gilt spine, gilt top page edges, marbled end papers and a ribbon page marker. Volume IV of the "Adelphi Edition" of the Works of Jane Austen.
Condition:
There are a few stains at the top-right corner of the front cover (see photo); light corner wear; some rubbing of the leather along the edges of the spine; light wear at the center of the board edges. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Clean pages with no issues found. There is an intricate bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. Overall the book is in very good condition.

Sinopsis
Mansfield Park is a novel by Jane Austen, written at Chawton Cottage between 1812 and 1814. It was published in July 1814 by Thomas Egerton, who published Jane Austen's two earlier novels, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice. When the novel reached a second edition, its publication was taken over by John Murray, who also published its successor, Emma.
