London: Horace Cox, 1888. Hardcover . Used - fair. Thick 8vo. Sixth edition. 110 of the 111 illustrations present, plate no. 74, 'Five Rater,' cut out. Plate no. 38 (fold-out) loose and missing one of four panels. Roughly 15 to 20 other plates with short tears, only one of which reaches the illustration. Some other plates have chipped edges or inner page edge curl. In sum, at least 95% of the plates are in fine condition, with only a handful either missing or with any serious damage. Royal blue cloth covers heavily scuffed and joints split (covers remain intact).
