Pair of leaves from an Islamic prayer book. Written in Naskhi script on polished paper. Gold, colored borders. Each is approximately 3 x 6 inches. Isfahan, late 18th Century.
Scribe is Abu Bakr Jami. Fine condition.
In the popular and very readable Naskhi script, these two leaves are from a small prayer book. The paper is a handmade paper sized with albumen and polished with agate, a practice used on paper for sacred texts.
