Sobre este artículo
About this Item: Random House, New York, 2005. Hardcover. Condition: As New. Dust Jacket Condition: 1st Edition. Book is AS NEW, unmarked and probably unopened. Priced (25.95) dust jacket is near fine, and would be as new but for a price tag at the verso that was ripped off. In 1864, after Union general William Tecumseh Sherman burned Atlanta, he marched his sixty thousand troops east through Georgia to the sea, and then up into the Carolinas. Doctorow chronicled the march and its participants. Only a master novelist could so powerfully and compassionately render the lives of those who marched. The book is a stunning achievement in story telling and historical facts combined with fine fiction. This novel would make a fine addition to any Civil War library. Seller Inventory # 001819
