Spine slightly rubbed at ends. Old crease to front cover. Corners slightly bumped. Slight browning to endpapers with original bookseller label to front corner. Authors inscription to front endpaper and 3 loose signed-letters. Else a very clean and tight copy. 352pp. With b/w plate illustrations. Each chapter describes "a string of places, within the compass of a reasonable day's walk, in which some remains of the epoch dealt with are still patent. ". A look at Dorset. The author describes an aspect of Dorset history and gives a suggested walk.
