Sobre este artículo
New York: John Lane, 1917. First Edition. This was the office file copy of Sherwood Anderson’s agent, Harold Ober Associates, sent to them by Mrs. Sherwood Anderson (Eleanor Copenhaver Anderson), and has the agency’s printed name and address label affixed to the front flyleaf on which is typed: “Please take good care of this book--it is Mrs. Anderson’s only copy.” A little rubbing at extremities and general use, very good copy without dust jacket.
Sinopsis
Uncle Charlie Wheeler stamped on the steps before Nance McGregor's bake-shop on the Main Street of the town of Coal Creek Pennsylvania and then went quickly inside. Something pleased him and as he stood before the counter in the shop he laughed and whistled softly. With a wink at the Reverend Minot Weeks who stood by the door leading to the street, he tapped with his knuckles on the showcase.
