Sobre este artículo
Barcelona, Spain Plaza & Janés Editores: Varia, 1980. Paperback First Edition (1980), so stated. First Edition (1980), so stated. Very Near Fine in Wraps: shows only the most minute indications of use: just a hint of wear to the extremities; the mildest rubbing to the panels; the pages have tanned just slightly, due to aging. The binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of creases. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing the mildest wear and a minor, unobtrusive flaw. Very close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo. (7.2 x 4 x 0.95 inches). 396 pages. Language: Spanish. Weight: 7.4 ounces. Mass Market Paperback. Vicente Blasco Ibáñez (18671928) was a journalist, politician and best-selling Spanish novelist in various genres whose most widespread and lasting fame in the English-speaking world is from Hollywood films adapted from his works. Rex Ingram filmed Mare Nostrum a spy story from 1918 - in 1926 as a vehicle for his wife Alice Terry at his MGM studio in Nice. Michael Powell claimed in his memoirs that he had his first experience of working in films on that production.
