Polish language version of the biography of Mary, Queen of Scots 8vo size gray clothbound hardcover with bright gilt titles; 474 pages Author Stefan Zweig (1881-1942) was an Austrian novelist and biographer. He fled Nazi Germany in 1938 to London, the United States and finally to Brazil where he committed suicide in 1943. Zweig, whose works have been translated into many languages, was one of the most popular writers of his generation. Several of Zweig's novels and biographies have been adapted for the movies, including a 2013 version of Mary, Queen of Scots. Badly bumped bottom front corner of cover and pages up to about 310, bumped bottom back corner and small bump to bottom of book; some crayoning on rep and inside back cover; small abrasion on inside front cover where sticker was removed; notation written on bottom of blank fep. Spine cover appears a little wrinkled; light soil to covers. . Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
