Sobre este artículo
Digswell Place, Eng.: James Nisbet & Co., 1959. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The illustrated covers are fresh, with just a bit of wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is only in good condition, with light wear overall, and shallow chips of paper missing from the top and bottom of the spine. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: In Peter's imagination, "The Village," which dull persons might say "was only an ordinary room at the top of Peter's house, containing toy houses, a model railroad, and painted animals," becomes completely real, and the setting of a detective story. It begins when "something vanishes, and the whole Village is set talking and questioning. Hardly has .. Inspector Gander taken the case in hand when vital witnesses begin to disappear. The mystery deepens as the witnesses unaccountably reappear, and is profoundly baffling until at last Inspector Gander suspects the truth.
