Sobre este artículo
Harrap,, [1947]. 2 vols., 8vo., First Edition thus, with 2 portrait frontispieces, 14 facsimiles and 196 maps and plans (a number double-page) in the text; original maroon buckram, upper boards with Marlborough arms blocked in gilt, gilt backs, maroon tops, expertly rebacked with old backstrips laid down, a very good, bright, clean, crisp copy. This first two-volume edition is an entirely new setting (not merely a rearrangement) of the original four-volume edition of 1933-34.
