Sobre este artículo
New York: Knopf, 2012. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. The second novel in Mayle's mystery series featuring Sam Levitt, Mayle's fictional American sleuth who lives to sample the best France has to offer in wine, women and restaurants while earning a franc or two for his bank account. This time Sam is hired to represent a mega-wealthy client interested in a very valuable piece of Marseille waterfront and finds himself in the middle of a very dangerous real estate grab. First printing, first edition (as stated). About 6 x 8 1/2 inches, 210 pages bound in a blue back strip over yellow paper-covered boards with silver lettering on spine. The graphic on the front panel of the dustjacket features bright yellow, blue and white colors against a red background that wraps around the book. The back panel shows four blurbs paising the first novel in the series, "The Vintage Caper," and back panel has color photo of author. Boards are without significant flaws -- no tearing, creasing or bumping. Not remaindered, not ex-library. Text is clean, complete and unmarked. The dustjacket shows minimal wear along front panel's bottom edge, o/w without flaws or damage. Not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
