Second endpaper is missing. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Water drop to page 241 edge, with pencil marks to page 1. Slight cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a subtle backward lean.
