Binders tickets to FEPs ov Vol. I and III, recent bookplate of Robert J. Hayhurst to FEP of Vol. I, free-endpapers of Vol. I removed. The first edition of a triple-decker novel by George Payne Rainsford James (1801-1860), presenting a fictionalised account of the turbulent history of the burghers of Flanders. We could find no record of T. Kilkenny's bindery. . First edition. 8vo.
