Sobre este artículo
The First UK Printing of this omnibus edition published by Peter Davies, London in 1940. The BOOK is in Very Good++ condition. Light pushing at the spine ends. Red lettering to the boards remains bright. Light toning and dustiness to the text-block but the pages remain very clean. A neat previous owner's name and date to the upper front end-paper. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good condition. Some loss at the upper spine end and corners. A 4cm closed tear to rear upper spine fold. Some toning to the folds with a little light marking to the covers in places. A small amount of tape reinforcement to the verso which does not show through to the front. The wrapper remains very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The first omnibus edition of the first two 'Mary Poppins' titles wonderfully illustrated throughout by Mary Shepard. A very scarce title with its original wrapper. Collectible. More images available on request. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
