This first edition is limited to 4000 copies of which this is one of 500 copies signed by the author: "Jon Arfstrom with best wishes - A. E. Van Vogtand". Jon Arstrom was a fantasy and horror pulp illustrator. Numbered (no. 21). There is spotting and damp staining to the cloth. There is also a stain to the inside of the dust jacket. Some fading and edgewear to jacket. Original price of $3.00 present on front flap.Jacket designed by A. J. Donnell.
