Sobre este artículo

Dublin: J. Fannin and Co., 1844. [Medical science] REBOUND RARE FIRST EDITION. Octavo (24 x 15cm), pp.[XXXVI] 432. Tan half calf with marbled paper over boards and black rulings to tan borders. Black tooling, gilt titles, and label in black morocco to spine. Raised bands. Binder's label to rear paste-down. Spotting, toning, and some chipping to leaves, especially the first and last few gatherings. A large stain spans the lower margins of pages 28-33. Various old glue stains and marks. Inscriptions in both pencil and ink throughout leaves, rarely interfering with the text. Half-title archivally restored, page of anonymous notes to verso. Edges toned. Leather lightly scuffed in places, two light pen marks to lower board. Still very good. John Moore Neligan was physician at the Charitable Infirmary in Dublin until around 1855. He wrote this opus in response to discovering there existed no outstanding pharmaceutical guidebooks for medical students. Dictionary of Irish Biography.
