Sobre este artículo

London: Jonathan Cape, 1988. First edition. Cloth. Fine/Fine. 10" by 6". None. A fine, first edition copy of Roald Dahl's famous children's novel 'Matilda'. A fantastic copy of this award winning novel. 'Matilda' won the Children's Book Award in the year of its publication. 'Matilda' is one of Dahl's best-known works. The titular character is a fantastic, extremely literate child who lives in a home where her parents do not appreciate her. She is a child prodigy, who discovers that she has an extraordinary psychic power which she uses to save her school and teacher, Miss Honey. Dahl published this book following his success with other titles such as 'The BFG' and 'The Witches'. It was later adapted into the 1996 film starring Danny DeVito, and the RSC's successful stage musical. A fine example of this important work. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent, with light bumping to the head and tail of spine. A few light marks to the head of front board. Dustwrapper is excellent with minor shelfwear to the head of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Fine
