This is a near-perfect copy of Maugham: A Biography, an excellent biography of the English writer W. Somerset Maugham by the French-American writer Ted Morgan. It was published in 1980; this is a first edition.
At 711, it is a thick, heavy book with lots of photographs.
Minor wear to the dust jacket, which is unclipped. The dust jacket, which has a little bit of price tag remnants still on it, is a little loose on the book.
There is a tiny bit of fading to the top edge of the spine.
Other than that, there is no evidence that anyone ever read it. Inside, the book is pristine.
