Translated from the original German language editions of 1924-37 by Heinz Norden with a preface by Erwin Panofsky and with comments and notes by Nicole Veronee-Verhaegen. The edition is augmented by almost 2000 illustrations. All volumes are internally clean and sound and are flawless or near flawless in blue cloth covered boards. Some dust jackets are rubbed and shelf worn with wear to corners and edges. Each volume weighs between 0.700 gr and 1.5 kilogram. Dust jacket of Volume 5 missing.
